Pupnatska Luka, Vela Luka, Vela Spila and Pupnat

With the weather forecast for thunder storms we went to Vela Luka for coffee and the Vela Spila cave where ceramic fragments thought to be around 17,500 years old have been found. 

We then had a lovely lunch at Mate in Pupnat.

After lunch we went to the beach at Pupnatska Luka and almost had the beach to ourselves. Of note, is that beaches in Croatia often consist of pebbles. The beaches that are sandy are often very shallow and not suitable for swimming. There are also a lot of "beaches" that are rocks, concrete or a mixture of both.
